Pink Flamingo Margarita

A few weeks ago, I visited Cheeseburger in Paradise with a few friends. If you’re a fan of places like Margaritaville or any tropical/Caribbean themed restaurant in any city that isn’t the Caribbean, you’ll be a fan of Cheeseburger in Paradise. All of the foodie groups I belong to will now disown me for announcing my love of all things Jimmy Buffett and fake caribbean, but that secret was bound to come out one day.
Cheeseburger in Paradise has an extensive drink menu, ranging from tropical margaritas to funky boat drinks and everything in between. Some of their girly drinks include signature fruit faces, pieces of fruit shaped to look like faces with small sunglasses to boot. Order a boat drink, and your cocktail will be garnished with Angelina Fish, Penelope Parrot, Lizard Lips, or Berry Beth.

Pink Flamingo Margarita
This margarita is a version of X-Rated’s Pink Taco Shooter
- 1 oz Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila
- 1 oz X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
- 2 oz Margarita mix (or triple sec/Grand Marnier/Cointreau & lime)
- 1 oz. strawberry puree
- lime wedge and orange wedge for garnish
Garnish with a pink flamingo, lime and orange wedges
Serve on the rocks with a salted rim
