shots

In college, I would combine champagne with Red Bull in a shot glass and my friend and I would call them “Rachel and Megan shots.” Clever, I know, but that just goes to show you how non-creative I am when it comes to shots (or how much of a wuss I am).

I had since strayed away from shots, but I’ve recently been introduced to a new line of shot mixtures that doesn’t require measurements or standing in a grocery store (or 7-11) for 45 minutes, staring at the liquor aisle trying to figure out what to buy for the perfect shot for your next girls night out. This line kind of reminds of all the times I ordered P.F. Chang’s carry-out, put it on a plate, and tried to convince my boyfriend that I’m a great cook…

Girly Drinks DeKuyper Burst Shots Anyways, the DeKuyper line of Burst Bar Shots are all ready made and only require you to chill and serve. They seem to be a great short-cut if you’re hosting a party (you don’t need tons of alcohol and mixers and don’t have to spend the entire party playing bartender) and they are more affordable than buying a variety of liquor bottles. Just like P.F. Chang’s take-out, there’s no need to let your party guests know that you didn’t make them – you can transfer the pre-mixed shots into a trendy carafe or dress them up with garnishes.

Burst Shots come in three flavors: Red Headed Burst, Kamikaze Burst and Washington Apple.

If you’ve tried a Burst Shot yet, let us know what you think in the comments.
