Not gonna lie, I think it’s fun when a company, not just a bar or restaurant, comes up with fun specialty cocktails. I’ve recently been *researching* different trends in cocktails, such as herb and vegetable cocktails (basil/rosemary/tomatoes!) and new dessert cocktails, but all of us at Girly-Drinks have been getting fun recipes from unique (read: not typical) companies.
The folks over at Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center (SMAC) and Jason Pozner, MD’s, plastic surgery office in Boca Raton, Florida, came up with a healthy drink to serve at all of their parties. Dr. Jason Pozner, a board certified plastic surgeon, and his business partner, Dr. David Goldberg, a cosmetic dermatologist, created Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center to offer people a unique combination approach to plastic surgery and dermatology.
The doctors at SMAC offer everything from a weight loss physician to laser experts, but they also throw a number of parties for their clients. Because of their line of work, they wanted to offer up cocktails that were as healthy as possible, which lead to the introduction of their SMAC Me Gorgeous Cocktail.
The SMAC Me Gorgeous Cocktail is simple to make:
- Champagne
- Organic Pomegranate Juice
Fill glass (champagne or martini glass) with champagne ¾ of the way and top off remaining with Organic Pomegranate Juice.
The staff at SMAC sent us over a picture from one of their recent parties where the SMAC Me Gorgeous Cocktail was served. Sounds fun and looks like people love the SMAC Me Gorgeous Cocktail (Fun name to say, by the way. Sounds like a drink out of an Austin Powers movie…).
