Any drink that ends with –ini is A-OK in our book. The Flirtini, as we recall, was made popular by the wonderful characters in a little known show, Sex and the City. I believe the Flirtini was featured as a specialty cocktail, although I can’t remember what episode. Sigh. Guess I’ll have to watch every episode tonight : )
The flirtini is like many other martinis, made with vodka and cranberry juice. The twist to the flirtini recipe is the champagne and sugar that you’ll add – Yum Oh!
Flirtini Ingredients:
- 1½ oz. Vodka
- ½ oz. Triple sec
- ½ oz. Cranberry juice
- ½ oz. Lemon juice
- ½ tsp. Sugar
- 1 oz. Champagne
- Orange twist for garnish
Flirtini Recipe:
Combine vodka, liqueur, juices and sugar in mixing glass. Add ice and shake. Strain into your Swank Martini Glass and top with champagne. Stir gently and garnish.
