I discovered the champagne rita last summer while trying out different tequila recipes. A blend of everything that’s in a typical margarita with a top off of champagne, this cocktail is light and perfect for summer or a special celebration
The Champagne Rita
- 1 oz tequila
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 oz limeade/lime juice
- champagne
Mix tequila, triple sec, and limeade together in shaker filled with ice. Pour into chilled champagne glass; top off with champagne.
You can make limeade by combining equal parts lime juice and water with 1/2 tsp sugar.
